Although the trip to Mexico in 2022 had its ups and downs, there are many experiences that are unforgettable. No, we are not talking about that evening when we realized Miruna had Corona, nor about that day when Emanuel’s sister and her family were put into prison in the Mexican airport for not knowing the schedule of their own holiday in this foreign country, no, no.. We are talking about the GOOD experiences.

In this category of the good times enters our visit to Zinacantán, a small town in the region of Chiapas, mostly consisting of indigenous Maya population.
We had the opportunity to visit a clothing market, where women create some of the most beautiful, traditional pieces of clothing, all handmade, using only natural fabrics.
They were all so patient with us, even dressed us up in their traditional style and had the chance to create a stronger bond to a different culture.

Of course we fulled around, had lots of laughs, bought something nice for ourselves to remind us about them when we’re back at home and thanked these lovely ladies for such an experience. They probably have to do this every day for all kinds of tourists, but for us it was unique and incredibly fascinating. And hopefully, we did not make a bad impression. 🙂
